Day 1 — Airport · Kumai · Houseboat
Board the klotok and cruise the Sekonyer, settling into life on the river. Overnight on the boat.
Day 2 — Camp Leakey
Travel upriver to Camp Leakey, the reintroduction and research centre. Trek through tropical rainforest and witness the 14.00 feeding. Overnight on the boat.
Day 3 — Pondok Tanggui · Pesalat · Tanjung Harapan
Morning feeding at Pondok Tanggui, then the Pesalat reforestation camp to see replanting in action. Afternoon feeding at Tanjung Harapan. Optional night walk to spot nocturnal wildlife, glowing mushrooms, or fireflies in the nipah mangrove.
Day 4 — Second Visit to Camp Leakey
A second, unhurried visit to Camp Leakey for more time with the orangutans and the forest. Overnight on the boat.
Day 5 — Houseboat · Kumai · Airport
A final peaceful morning before cruising back to Kumai and transferring to the airport.
